How To Make A Bracelet of Special Memories with Compatible Beads on Pandora, Trollbeads and Chamilia Chai
The popular fashion for personalized bracelets using Murano
glass and Silver beads can be a way of preserving special
memories.
The basis of the bracelet is a silver or gold chain onto
which the beads are threaded using a system that keeps them
in place when spaced out, and prevents them from falling off
when the bracelet is removed.
There are three main brands, Trollbeads, Pandora and
Chamilia, and two of them were originally invented in
Denmark.
The Aagaard family from Copenhagen devised the Trollbead
system in 1976. The family continues to own the brand and
the collection now contains several hundred beads in a
variety of materials including silver, gold, glass and
natural stones.
Every bead has its own little story drawing on mythology,
astrology, animals, flowers and familiar everyday objects.
Denmark is where the Pandora system also originated. Pandora
started 1982, also from a shop in Copenhagen, owned by
goldsmith P.Enevoldsen and his wife.
The Pandora bracelet’s own threaded system divides each
bracelet into three sections. Individual beads are also
threaded on their insides so that they can be screwed onto
any section of the bracelet in whatever arrangement its
owner chooses.
Pandora in Greek mythology was a woman created by the god
Hefaistos. She was sent to earth with a box and all the
evils of the world were let loose when she opened it,
leaving only hope and opportunity remaining.
Chamilia also uses a threading system for its bracelets. It
also supplies locks that can be positioned anywhere on the
bracelet to keep the beads in place if the bracelet is not
fully loaded. You can also make a double bracelet or
necklace with Chamilia’s connectors.
The name Chamilia comes from the chameleon and describes the
flexibility of the bracelet that can be changed to suit the
wearer’s tastes and mood, or for an event to match an
outfit, in the same way that the chameleon adapts its
appearance to the environment and surroundings it is in.
These systems all make it possible to assemble your own
unique bracelet either using the companies’ own ranges of
beads or using Pandora, Trollbead and Chamilia compatible
beads. You can switch the beads around on the chains so
that they don’t always appear in the same order.
Choosing the bracelet that will form the basis is the first
step to creating a unique bracelet. It is important to
choose a bracelet large enough to leave enough space on to
add the bead collection.
Your jeweler, stocking a range of beads compatible with the
three brands, or the branded beads themselves, will be able
to help you calculate the length of bracelet you will need.
Then you will be able to select those beads, made of the
famous Murano glass, or ones that are compatible with the
bracelets and mix them with silver engraved beads or use
them alone in the colors you want to create a unique,
special and very personal item of jewelry that can also be
used to mark special events throughout your life in the same
way as traditional charm bracelets.

How do you clean the bleeding denim stains from leather and suede shoes?
I have two pairs of Jordan Retro 5 shoes, the Red/Black/White ones which are leather and the Green Bean/Silver ones, which are suede. I need to know hoe to clean these!!! I slipped up not cuffing my jeans and pinning them inside my shose so my jeans bled onto the shoe. Thanks kindly for all responses!
Use Dawn dish soap and an old toothbrush and scrub. Afterwords use an old dishclothes soaked in water and get rid of the bubbles.

need help with eclectic and vintage fashions?????
i absolutely adore vintage and eclectic fashions. example nathalia ramos in the bratz movie (gorgeous outfits). i am looking for some wardrobe inspiration i cant seem to find any thing around. any advice, websites, clothing ideas would be great thanks.
The key to looking vintage is accessories and the patterns. The 80′s used shock value, plaids, color, BIG. 60′s was loose, comfortable. 40′s was classic and elegant, so was 50′s. Jewelry can really be the key to bringing something together. your local thriftway or goodwill can have great old things that you never thought of as “vintage”, just cheap, especially jewelry. Shop in consignment stores. you have to look around and be willing to make things work. you can’t just want to look vintage, you have to be able to express yourself. Fashion is about defining who you are. So look around, try stuff on, and good luck!

Can you/how to cut a leather jacket?
I recently purched a Tannery West jacket that looks like it’s modeled after a Vintage Motorcycle jacket or something (see sample pic below, it looks very similar but with a longer front). Note im a guy, and a punk, so im planning on studding this. so anyway, after lending the jacket to a girl and seeign how it fit her, it struck me that i had bought a woment coat, not a men’s jacket. i can’t return it, and so i wanna see if i can shorten it and adjust it to my body(im 15, 125 pounds, all muscle, slim, broad shoulders, 5’7). the leather is thick, and the jacket weighs a good two pounds. is it possible to cut it, and not screw it up? i can sell it, but id just rather make it a bit more personal. and the jacket is a bit long on the front( midway- down my theighs.)
