Vera and her husband started silk screening items in their apartment in 1946, she added scarfs after that and added clothing in the 60′s. She passed away in 1993 however, the company continues today without her doing the designs. Her vintage scarfs had her signature and a small lady bug logo tag attached. They sold in to $30 – $50 range. She did a very large scarf that could be tied around the neck and waist to wear as a blouse under a suit–the forerunner of to today’s cami’s.
